I've been picking up bottles of grog lately, do they have any added benefits other than going towards the drunken title? I mean any fighting skills or anything like that? Or should I just stand there in an outpost and drink them when I've got nothing better to do?

The skills http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Drunken_Master & http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dwarven_Stability benefit from being drunk when you use them.

OK so they are only useful in Eye of the North (the only one I don't have haha)

Even so, those are only really secondary niche things. It's 99.9% used just for the title.

it is worth a little more than standard alch tho, so if you have farmed alot(read several stacks) and want the drunkard title, it might be better to save it, sell it just before halloween and buy witches brews and absinthe.

Good tip would be to get eotn then. It's a nice campaign, gives you lots of overpowered skills and also a connection between gw1 and gw2.
I plan to use all my booze on my warrior while vq-ing, the booze + drunken master is great.

It would be more accurate to say they are only useful with some EotN skills. The skills (once you have them) can be used anywhere in PvE.
